Appearance: Standing at about 5'10" in height and with his athletic frame, to most people he would be what one considers attractive (however, if you ask him he'll tell you he is nothing special). His wide expressive eyes give a naive and innocent child like quality that make him seem easily likable. His dark eyes and hair compliment his tan skin tone attributable to being half latin.
Personality: It is a very difficult task to dislike Dom. He is genuinely a nice guy who loves to make people smile. He is a bit enigmatic in the sense that he is very shy and reserved though can easily strike up a conversation with just about anyone who is willing. He is not a fan of bullying and will often stick up for the weaker person, and when he does he makes sure to try and resolve the situation amicably, being a pacifist.
Academic Life: There are word for people like Dom...stupid. Ok, it's not that he is stupid, just a little bit of an airhead. In reality he is of average intelligence just has a tendency to miss the mark when it comes to common sense. In fact if you ask any of his friends they will often refer to him as the smartest dumb kid you'll ever meet.
Romantic Life: Though he is a true romantic at heart, he does not really bother with relationships. He believes that destiny decides when he meets the person he will spend the rest of his life with and until then there is no reason to worry about it.
Family Life: Dominic grew up with his father, mother and his sister in the historic city of Charleston, South Carolina. His mother, Nadia, was born to an influential family in Savannah, GA. Her father was judge and every year he took his family to spend the summer in Charleston. Rodrigo was born out of wed-lock to a Mexican woman who was hired as a nanny and housekeeper during their visits. Nadia and the Rodrigo developed a close friendship growing up much to her family's dismay. When she was sixteen her father fired the single mother in an attempt to prevent the inevitable. Despite his efforts, the two young lovers could not bear being apart and ran away together as soon they both turned eighteen.
Two years after their small marriage they brought into the world their first child, Marina. It was an unexpected yet pleasant surprise when they found out that they were expecting their second child. Growing up, Dominic had it good. The family was not well off by any means but they were close knit and that was all that really mattered. For the most part he was a quite and shy kid, but always friendly and nice. He was well liked by his peers. When he reached adolescence he began taking an interest in sports. Naturally he began to develop into an attractive young man and it wasn't long before he had a gaggle of girls giggling in a corner seemingly everywhere he went. He often just blushed and scampered away whenever he was approached.
He did like girls, it wasn't that he didn't he just never really thought of himself as good looking so didn't think that they were really interested. During Christmas break, his mother received a letter from his grandfather inviting her to come with her family to visit in Savannah. It had been the first time in since she ran off all those years ago. The family reluctantly accepted. It was here where he met Hunter Kensington. He was a year older than him and took him under his wing showing around the country club and partnering with him in squash. It was New Years Eve, with only a few seconds to midnight and one too many mint juleps, Hunter kissed him. He was taking aback by the action but he didn't complain.
After the successful family reunion, Dom's grandfather offered to let him make up for his ignorance and gifted them a large sum of money. His father decided that it was a good time to retire and moved the family down south to Key West, FL. Though initially he was very sad to leave his old friends behind, Dom was excited about his new adventure.
